Edward T. Hinote Sr., 77, RR 4, Veedersburg, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday, December 28, at his home.
He was born February 16, 1904 in Montezuma, the son of Oscar and Sara H. Marlin Hinote. He married Gwendolyn M. McCown in Rockville in 1934. She died in 1967.
He was a brick factory employee and also did masonry work.
Survivors include three daughters, Paquita Sidonya Wells of Kankakee, Illinois, Carmelita A. Anders of Danville, Illinois, and Deadra B. Hundley of Veedersburg; four sons, Lawrence G. of Rockville, Tom J. of Covington, Steven Lee and Timothy E. of Veedersburg; four half brothers, Oscar and Glenn Hinote of Veedersburg, Jake Hinote of Fairmount, Illinois, and Carl Hinote of Danville, Illinois; three half sisters, Ruth Dowers of Tangier, Mildred Clark and Julie Rusky of Veedersburg; 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, a brother and two sisters. - s
